Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her role in the film Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Kun..! The actress began her career as a performer in the late 1980s. The actress became popular for Tezaab, a film starring veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her next appearance on the screen was in Dil alongside Aamir. As a child she began learning at an early stage. Early in her life, as she began to act as a child actress, most films that she made weren't successful. The actress gained fame and was one of India's top movie actresses. She decided to take a break from her profession due to her marriage, before going back to the world of entertainment. In recent times, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. Dixit was also awarded her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. She is known for her charitable work as well.
