Katherine Heigl has opened up about being raised in "a White bubble." The actress also discusses how this experience has affected the way she raises adopted children who are multi-racial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl admitted she was not concerned about her skin tone, until she met her adopted sister from South Korea. "I asked my sister, Meg to tell me if she'd received the same treatment when she went out in public with our parents, and another way in the time she was alone without them. She responded "Oh sure! Every times!" Heigl talked to parents about the moment she realised the naivety of her actions. Her anger grew, and she decided to make use of her anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl, who has been with Josh Kelley for 13 years and has a son named Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. The couple's daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is an Black 8-year old girl that adopted in the year 2012.
